Breath is life - Padma Breathwork
At Padma BreathWork, we believe that every breath is a sacred bridge between body, mind, and spirit — a portal to inner healing and awakening.
Our name Padma (Sanskrit for “Lotus”) symbolizes the unfolding of consciousness: from the murky depths of stress, trauma, and conditioning, rises the radiant bloom of clarity, peace, and divine presence.
Founded upon the timeless wisdom of Pranayama, Kriya Yoga, and Sound Healing, Padma BreathWork offers a sanctuary where science meets spirit — where breath becomes medicine and stillness becomes transformation. Each session is a journey inward: to soften old patterns, awaken dormant energy, and reconnect with the vast intelligence that lives within you.
Here, healing is not a performance — it is remembrance.
You are not broken — you are unfolding.
And through the rhythm of breath, the resonance of sound, and the stillness of awareness, you return to what you have always been: whole, luminous, and free.
Welcome to your breath. Welcome home.

A short story about Mo
Founder of Padma BreathWork
We free ourselves, if we can forgive others, and ourself, if we love others, and ourself, and share and radiate goodness to all - Mo Gafoor
An American, born in Qatar and raised under the desert skies, with roots from the evergreen Kochi, Kerala and now rooted in beautiful North Carolina; Mo’s life is a vibrant tapestry of cultures, exploration, wisdom, and wanderlust. Having traveled to over 20 countries, he has explored the Himalayas, meditated in ancient temples, hiked through rainforests, and shared tea with gurus who became teachers.
For more than 15 years, Mo has immersed himself in the study and practice of meditation, pranayama, and inner alchemy, blending Eastern philosophy with Western practicality. His breathwork sessions weave science, spirituality, and grounded humor — making even the deepest inner work feel approachable, real, and alive.
Beyond the mat, Mo is an avid hiker, musician of the soul, and father of three incredible kids who remind him daily of the beauty in presence and play. His life’s path is driven by an unquenchable curiosity — a lifelong learner and seeker devoted to understanding the hidden architecture of consciousness and the subtle rhythms that shape the human experience.
Through Padma BreathWork, Mo invites others to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover the luminous stillness within. His message is simple but transformative:
“The breath is not just air — it’s awareness made visible.”
